WCAL FINALS

Lots of great races!  Lots of great marks!.

V Girls: Mitty beats Saint Franics by 3.5 point.  It all came down to the 4x400.

V Boys: Bellarmine dominates.  Lots of boys heading to CCS.

JV Girls:  Mitty doubles up and takes both girls titles.

F/S Boys: Bellarmine also doubles.

Finals Are Seeded.  we are Ready to Go!!

The entries for the 2013 WCAL Track and Field Championships are in and set.  The Girl's Pole Vault starts off at 2:30pm, and the remainder of the meet gets underway at 5:00pm.

Boys  Trials Results Available

The results of the Varsity and Junior Varisyt Boys Trials are available here.  The F/S Boys Long Jump results are not includd.  They will be added on Thursday.  Also, qualying in the F/S Boys 400 is different due to a camera issue at the Trials.  We run 2 heats of the F/S Boys 400 at finals.  Ellington, Jones and Martinez  will run in the Finals.

Also, there have been modifications to the Girls results with additional qualifiers to the Varsity and Junior Varsity Girls Long Jumps.   The revised Girls Trials results are available here.

Entries Are Now Available

Entries for the 2013 WCAL Track and Field Trials are in. 

The Girls Trails (click here for entries) will be on Tuesday, May 7 starting at 4:00pm.

The Boys Trials (click here for entries) will be on Wednesday starting at 3:30 (Field events) and 4:00pm for Running events.

The Finals (click here for Finals-only entries) will be on Friday May 10 starting at 5:00pm.

The Trials will be seeded (heats determined) and published here on Sunday May 5.

Updated Schedule.

Changes have been made to the schedule, inlcuding:

1. The F/S Boys 3200m will be moved from Wednesday May 8 to Friday May10.
    The 1600s will stay on Wednesday.
2. The Trials schedule has been adjusted per Josh's observations from previous year's Trials.
    We hope they are more reasonable and better fitting the actual timeline for the Trials.
    The Finals schedule has (mostly) not changed.
3. The Field Events on Wednesday will start at 3:30 pm.
4. No changes to the running Events schedule for Friday.
5. The Varsity Girls Pole Vault has been returned to the previously
     published (and previous year's time) of 2:30pm Start.

Meet Entries Open Wedmesday, April 24

The meet has been uploaded to http://www.directathletics.com/ for entry.  Entries will be open from Wednesday April 24th until Saturday, May 4 at 12:00pm (noon).  If you have any problems with entries, please feel free to contact Steve Fuller by EMail or phone (831-566-6489).

We will have 2013 WCAL Track and Field Championship Tee-shirts available for purchase for $15.00 all 3 days.  Click on the images to the left for larger views of the front and back of the shirt.

We are also working on having food available for the Trials.  We will have our usual Invitational BBQ available on Friday night.

Traisl and Finals To Be Run at Saint Francis Again in 2013

Both of the Trials (Boys and Girls) and the combined Finals will take place this year at Saint Francis.  The Trials will start both days at 4:00pm, and the Finals will start at 5:00pm.  The Girls Trials are on Tuesday May 7 and the Boys Trials are on Wednesday May 8.  The Finals are on Friday May 10.
